New Kid on the Block 02.14.09

I know, it’s Saturday and the day of rest for the combine guys. But it’s not a day of rest for me or Golden State Warrior, Marcus Williams. Marcus and I worked today for about two hours. He is working on shedding some weight, strengthening his hip flexors, adding to his foot speed and overall quickness.
I think he would have made a remarkable football player. His lower body is extremely strong and legs are solid, very large for the rest of his body.
We found some areas we need to adjust and I believe they will make a huge difference in his game. Marcus was acquired from the Nets, where he played for two years. He went to UConn for college and was selected to New Jersey Nets as the 22nd pick in the 2006 NBA draft as a junior.
